At Tapestry and Tomes, each product is thoughtfully created to help bring classic stories to life. Because we offer both print-on-demand physical products and digital downloads, our policies differ slightly depending on the product type.
Please review the information below before placing your order.
Shipping Policy
Processing Times
Because many of our physical products are print-on-demand, processing times may vary.
Typical Processing Times:
- Print-on-Demand Books: 5 business days
- Physical Kits & Supplies: 5 business days
- Digital Downloads: Instant delivery after purchase
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email.
Shipping Time Estimates
After processing:

U.S. Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Creative Companion Standard Shipping: 7–8 business days
- Creative Companion Expedited Shipping: 4–5 business days
Please note that shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, holidays, or weather.
Incorrect Address
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
Tapestry and Tomes is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.
If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered production.
Returns & Refunds
Print-on-Demand Books
Because our books are printed on demand, we do not offer refunds or returns unless there is a defect or issue with the product.
Eligible Issues Include:
- Printing errors
- Damaged upon arrival
- Incorrect item received
If there is an issue with your order, you must provide:
- Video proof of the issue
- Contact within 7 days of delivery

with your order number and video showing the issue.
Once reviewed, we will determine eligibility for replacement.
Return Shipping Responsibility
If a return is approved:
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Items must be returned in original condition
- We recommend using tracked shipping
Physical Kits & Supplies
We accept returns for unused physical kits within 14 days of delivery, unless otherwise noted.
Requirements:
- Item must be unused
- Must be in original packaging
- Customer pays return shipping

Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products:
All digital download purchases are final.
We do not offer refunds on:
- Book Club Kits
- Printable Embroidery Designs
- Any downloadable files
However, if you experience any issues accessing your files, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged:
Please contact us within 7 days and include:
- Order number
- Video proof of damage
- Photos (optional but helpful)
We will review and determine eligibility for replacement.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Once your package has shipped and tracking has been provided:
- Tapestry & Tomes is not responsible for lost or stolen packages
- Please contact your shipping carrier directly
